Description
Taking cordless hedge trimmers to new levels, the new Makita DUH551Z is powered by 2 x 18v Lithium Ion batteries from the LXT range making it a true 36v machine. Any combination of batteries can be used, 3.0Ah, 4.0Ah or 5.0Ah but please note that the machine will cut out once either one of the batteries has lost its charge.
Features include a 550mm double sided blade capable of cutting branches up to Ø18mm and with soft start motor and variable speed, a 5 position rotating handle allows the user to select the most comfortable cutting position for both left and right handed operators.
Low noise emission make it ideal in domestic environments and XPT (extreme protection technology) prevent dust and moisture from getting in to the motor and causing damage. Low level battery indicators alert the user when the batteries need charging and an electric brake stops the blade rotation once the on/off switch is released.
Supplied as a body only tool, no batteries or charger supplied.
